Sarah Welsh, B.Acct, ACA, CPP
Sarah is the sole Director of Olex Accounting Limited, bringing years of expertise as an Associate Chartered Accountant. With a deep knowledge of accounting and taxation, Sarah takes great pride in sharing her insights with clients to help them achieve their financial and personal goals.
Outside of her professional life, Sarah enjoys a fulfilling family life, balancing the demands of raising two active boys while also supporting her husband in his busy role. When she gets the chance, she escapes to the family bach in Twizel for some well-earned relaxation.
The name Olex Accounting is a blend of Sarah’s sons’ names, Alex and Ollie, continuing a cherished tradition of using family names for the business. Sarah’s strong family values and dedication to both her clients and loved ones are at the heart of her work and her success.
Sonia Brown B.Com, CA, CPP
With years of experience in the chartered accountant world, Sonia made a valuable addition to our team in 2023. Her expertise in accounting and management has greatly benefited both our internal processes and our clients. Her attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to lead have become invaluable assets to our team.
When she’s not working, Sonia enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, three dogs, and rabbits. In her spare time, you can also find her in the kitchen, baking delicious cakes for her family and friends.
Rebecca Jones
Bec joined the Olex team in June 2022, bringing with her several years of experience from working in accounting firms in Christchurch and Perth. Her strong background in accounting and organizational skills have made her a great addition to the team.
Outside of work, Bec loves spending time with her young family, enjoying camping and boating, and taking on minor house renovation projects—usually with a little help from her loved ones!
